'That '70s' Masterson Signs On For '70s Film "That '70s Show's" Danny Masterson will star in the independent film "Sex and a Girl," featuring Genevieve Bujold ("Dead Ringers" ), Robert Hays (1997's TV movie "I'll Be Home For Christmas" ), Soleil Moon Frye ("Punky Brewster") and Ellen Green ("One Fine Day" ), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The coming-of-age story is set in the '70s and follows a girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina. Masterson will play the girl's alcoholic boyfriend who threatens to derail her dreams.
The film will be directed by Drew Ann Rosenberg with John Walcutt and actor Hays producing. Masterson just wrapped filming on the VH1 telepic "Back In Black."
